When a friend introduced me to the Karma school of cooking, I was excited to learn how to cook Indian cuisine, as I absolutely love authentic Indian food, but have no idea on how to prepare it. The location was easy enough to find and at ZAR350.00 per person, it was very reasonable since all the ingredients are included and you have full access to a professional kitchen with all the utensils needed. At the end of the class, all the classmates sit down and enjoy the meal together. This is really a great way of meeting new people.

Travelling on the new Gautrain is indeed an experience, especially for locals. Every passenger requires a Gold card which gives you access to the barriers as well as exit from the Parkade. The carriage is attractive and the seats are comfortable, the journey itself is smooth, offering some attractive views of the city. Once the journey comes to an end, at an average of 15 minutes, the train stops at the OR tambo airport immediately giving you access off the platform escalators which lead you to the parkade. Well worth the experience.

During the past few weeks, we’ve had a few tourists stay with some clients of ours and they asked if there was a place they could visit that was peaceful, beautiful and where they could rest and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding them. This was easy. We hired vehicles for them and booked the day at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Ruimsig. From the very moment you walk into the Botanical Gardens, you feel calm and at peace. Taking the stroll to the magnificent waterfall and then watching it as it tumbles over the mountain takes your breath away.

Who would’ve thought they’d be able to find a bird sanctuary in the heart of Johannesburg? I certainly didn’t. But as I was driving down Beyers Naude the other day toward Cresta shopping centre, I came across this sign “The Kelland Bird Sanctuary”. As a tourist, hire a car from Johannesburg car hire, investigate this beautiful piece of land. It is situated at the confluence of the Darrenwood Spruit and Fairlands Spruit and the Klein Jukskei River, between the Randpark Golf Course and the Willows Estate. It is fed by the Fairlands Spruit and the Darrenwood Spruit and has 24 bird species.

When it comes to organizing a function, whether it’s a birthday celebration, wedding, anniversary or corporate event, the work involved is often very overwhelming. As most event organizers will agree, the layout and display of flowers often makes or breaks a function. Flowers play an important role in these types of occasions as they are often the first thing that greats a person when being seated at a table. That is why Goseame flower market, based in Johannesburg is my first choice when it comes to purchasing flowers as I am never restricted for choice. Car Rental Johannesburg also allows me too collect and deliver my flowers as I please to any location in Johannesburg.

Going organic seems to be a growing trend and not surprising why when you realize all the benefits of Natural grown products without the risk of damaging both the environment and ourselves when it comes consuming harmful pesticides. With that said, this is the reason why most people prefer to shop at organic markets. That why I often frequent Bryanston when on business. Car rental Johannesburg is my choice in travel to this unique organic and natural market outdoor market. This market has been around for approximately 33 years and hosts and array of wholesome foods all of course, organic and naturally grown.
