On my latest adventure, I hired a vehicle from a reputable car hire facility. My requirements were uncomplicated; I wanted the most affordable 4X4 available. The destination was Hamilton’s game lodge, situated in the Kruger National Park. At first I was very dubious to find out that it was tented camps and was apprehensive about what to expect, but I was highly impressed with the layout as it was as luxurious as any five star hotel. The tents are furbished in a Colonial style, reflecting the era of Sir Colonel Stephenson Hamilton who played an important role in the development of the Kruger National Park.
